The song Forgiven is one of the most personal songs I have ever written.. it is also the one that most people ask, “whats this song about?” For me, the lyrics were inspired by the relationship I had with my older sister during the time of her first pregnancy. (yes, its not always about a man!) But I guess in any relationship, there is gonna be a time when someone does someone else wrong. Its safe to say we have all been on both sides of the coin. How do you get over it? Is there a point when saying “sorry” isn’t enough? A point where you just cant forgive? I thought I would post the lyrics here and hopefully it will inspire you to think about forgiveness in a different light.
